The Computer Demonstrations
Each afternoon of the summer school, the participants conduct a series of experiments using computer programs. The computer demonstrations are interactive, allowing students to explore for themselves, through a graphical interface, many fundamental processes, such as diffusion and advection, as well as complex geophysical phenomena, such as the quasi-biennial oscillation in the stratosphere. All these demonstrations can be downloaded here:

The participants have also been introduced to eScience technology through a series of computer demonstrations organised by the National Institute for Environmental eScience.
